MASKNE
How do i combat it?
“Maskne” - a word you’ve probably heard thrown around regularly in today’s era. But what is it exactly? The term is used to describe breakouts caused by wearing a face mask or covering. Most of us have experienced these unwanted (often painful) spots, so what can be done to combat them?

1.) Cleanse
Gently cleanse your skin before and after wearing your mask to rid your face of dirt, oil, makeup, SPF, etc.

2.) Moisturize
Moisture is important to keep your skin supple and nourished. Throw on a good serum and don’t forget to hydrate your lips as well!

3.) SPF
Sun protection still counts as not all your face is covered and UV rays can still penetrate through your mask. SPF above 30 is recommended.

4.) Spray
Spray your mask with a toning mist before use to cleanse oil and debris within your pores to help prevent acne. We offer a cucumber toning mist for sale available for purchase in-office. Click here to purchase the cucumber toning mist from our online store.
